Monument on Kaim Hill.

Kaim Hill, between Bieżanów and Wieliczka, was the westernmost place that Russian troops managed to take during their attack on Kraków in 1914. Thanks to the heavy artillery of Kraków Fortress they were forced back. A high obelisk was erected here one year after the event, on Dec 6, 1915.
