Ark of the Lord church in Kraków-Nowa Huta.

It was the first church that the communist regime allowed to be built in Nowa Huta, a new industrial district of Kraków. Designed by architect Wojciech Pietrzyk and constructed in 1967-1977 it resembles a ship, hence its popular name: Ark of the Lord.

The oldest functioning theatre building in Poland is located on the corner of Jagiellońska Street and Szczepański Square in Kraków. Beautiful Art Nouveau decorations of the hall and stairwell were designed by Eugeniusz Dąbrowa at the turn of 19th and 20th century. On the wall there is a painting of Helena Modrzejewska, a famous Polish actress and a star of American stages in 19th century.
