St. Mary's church is located in the east wing of the High Castle. Unfortunately, its interior was demolished by the ammunition explosion during the siege in 1945.

Entrance to the Gothic church leads through the richly ornamented portal made of sandstone. In the tympanum there is a relief depicting Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with the Three Magi and the Visitation of the Virgin Mary below.

Built in 1370-1420, this three-nave basilica was one of the largest in Silesia. Burnt down completely during the WW2 fights in 1945, it was then rebuilt according to the original plans from year 1370.
