St. Anthony's Chapel on the first level (-64 m) of the salt mine in Wieliczka.

"The 17th century Baroque Saint Anthony’s Chapel is the oldest fully preserved chapel in the Wieliczka Mine. Its vestibule, where the faithful gathered, is separated from the chancel and the nave by an arcade and a banister. In the main altar the statues of the crucified Christ, Madonna with Child and Saint Anthony are to be seen. The sculptures in the chancel and the nave date back from the 17th century. Their soft contours are the result of the influence of humid air which had leached (dissolved) salt. The chandelier that lights the chapel is decorated with salt crystals." The Chapel of the Holy Cross in the salt mine in Wieliczka.

"The chapel was a votive offering for saving the mine from a catastrophic leak in the mid-19th century. The varied furnishing of the chapel include items from several places of worship in the mine. The altar is placed in a niche surrounded by a wooden structure and topped with an arc. In the centre of the altar, a wooden Baroque sculpture of Christ Crucified is placed. In front of the altar, salt figures of monks are found. Opposite, a 17th-century polychrome figure of Our Lady Victorious is to be seen." (From the official website).

The Chapel of Saint Kinga, the most famous underground chamber of the salt mine in Wieliczka.

"The Saint Kinga’s Chapel is the most impressive and opulent of underground temples. The chamber, carved in a block of salt, has been a place of worship since 1896. The chapel ornamentation has been created over a period of more than a hundred years. From late 19th century until 1963, the sculpting was conducted by self-taught miners-sculptors, Józef and Tomasz Markowski and Antoni Wyrodek. Their work is continued by the new generation of miners, who create new sculpting projects." (From the official website).
